ONE NIGHT STAND CHANGED HIS LIFE FOREVER

 

We all have that day,that night, that moment that we wish we could take back, one night that didn't really necessarily need to happen.Liquor tends,weed cookies but when you mix them all with sexual desire.....These nights typically don't end well.We all have near misses in life we are humans we make mistakes and eventually regrets come afterwards. Here's the story(TRUE STORY).

 So this story is about a boy who used to be my childhood friend back in the day he's name was Mark. Mark happened to be disowned by his parents when he was just 10 years he had no one to turn to as young as he was in the big city of Nairobi.For some reasons the mom never came back,but because of God's grace he survived went to school but reached a point where he dropped out of school he couldn't continue he had school fees arrears and he also needed food no one was there to provide for him he decided to stay at home and figure his life out while at home.

As the days and years pressing on,he made friends slightly older than him about 17,18,19,20 when he was only 15 at the time he got introduced to a big boy lifestyle. He started partying in a certain late night club in Nairobi "Jerry City" where he got addicted to drugs he was a party animal i would say.

Him being already used to the lifestyle, he met a pretty girl there she was damn fine,thick you name it they started hanging out together the bond grew stronger they continued hanging out more than often and decided  to go for some bang if you understand what i mean.The night of April 22nd 2019,Mark asked he's hommie Austin for his house for the night since Austin had a business meeting to attend to he didn't find it much of a deal he gave him the house keys anyways. The sunset is finally here the awaited girl has arrived him being a gentleman he never wanted to embarrass himself so he bought some few bottles of liquor in plenty few blunts like four five as the night commenced they got intimate slow caresses, neck kisses,moarns, sweet slow bedroom playlist playing

It was all new to mark i mean he was just 15 it was his first time so he had to give it his best shot,he seemed to enjoy it.The following morning dawned deep down mark knew he got himself a wife already he knew she was the one for him but what mark never understood was it was nothing serious the girl was just there for the moment.

After five days of intimacy,Mark couldn't reach the girl she blocked him he found it being strange,on top of that he was feeling fatigued somehow sick,he decided to hit he's friend derrick up,derrick pulled up and took him to a public hospital around he got tested and the unexpected results pops up he was HIV+,he's heart dropped he couldn't get his thoughts all together.

So Mark oh Mark got the virus the day he lost his virginity his first one night stand making matters worse he doesn't have any relative around him everything was all new to him.It being so mark started reminiscing asking himself questions maybe if my parents were around things would have been different anyway,I don't have anyone around me to speak life into me someone who could have atleast advised me right from wrong. Derrick being a nice friend he only had advised him to take the ARVs for the sake of his survival, housed him for 4 months he had no where to go.

After 6 months of adjusting to everything and healing,Mark met a girl him being human he fell in love again,started hanging out but before he could have sex with the girl he had to spill the beans to her that he's HIV+the girl told him not to worry about it because she's also HIV+ she was born with it,it came from her dad her mum being imprisoned for life due to being falsely accused of murder she lives with her grandma,so they decided to continue dating anyway after a month the girl got pregnant the girl was just 15 she had also dropped out,Mark at this time was 17.The girl decided to burst out the news to Mark. The news left Mark glued reality hit him hard that he had no money for such kind of responsibility he was just 17  a primary school drop out,no job to  feed three people,he had no parents nor relatives around him to support him.He decided to escape the nightmare to a nearby dam.The young innocent girl  looked for him everywhere crying and luckily a motorcyclist told her he had seen him heading to the dam side area she quickly rushed and found him attempting to dive in,the responsibility was getting a little bit heavy for him to carry he decided to commit suicide instead but when he saw the mother of his unborn child he decided to be strong for them  and suffer with them instead.

So Mark's girlfriend gave birth to a baby boy he was HIV negative that's the best part.He spoke to the young girl's grandma and swore to her that he was going to take responsibility regardless.He's life was a mediocre as it gets but then what now he made efforts as a young father at 17 trying to feed his family they would at times sleep hungry life wasn't easy for them.

But then again it's  a lesson to young adults out there,Human beings never learn don't they??....We live in a society where sex is much more prioritized than health people rush things out forgetting the consequences.Mark wished and he's still wishing he could turn back time,but he can't he has a family to feed,he's HIV+ he's friends changed on him .It's a lesson to anyone reading this take of yourself we have forever to go don't gain the world and lose your soul it's a cold world out here.....~Message from Mark to you~....
